It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Tillett & Damewood, Auctioneers (Auctioneers) may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Auctioneers be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor.  Auctioneers shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it.  Auctioneers will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise, or the listing of this merchandise.  Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase, or issue a charge back on their credit card.  Auctioneers are providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Auctioneers or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction.  Auctioneers will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins.  Auctioneers reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.

Payment Instructions: All accounts will be settled at the conclusion of the auction. We accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards only! Successful bidders will be emailed an invoice at the end of the live auction. The total due will include: (1) your final bid price, (2) the buyer's premium, and (3) 5% sales tax (Virginia Residents only). If you are local you can call for pick-up. If you do not call about pick-up shipping and insurance will be charged to your card.  Bidders picking up their purchases must do so within five business days and call us at 540-454-2326, or email Damewood@vt.edu to make those arrangements; otherwise, the items will be considered abandoned.

A pre-auction authorization will be performed to establish available credit. NOTHING will be charged to your card until a purchase is made. Credit card charge backs will not be accepted.

Shipping Instructions: Shipping costs: Items will be packaged and shipped using USPS flat rate boxes, plus a five dollar handling fee.  International customers should expect rates around $35.50 to Canada and Mexico; $58.50 to all other countries, plus the five dollar handling fee.  United States customers will see shipping rates around $15.00.  KEEP IN MIND THESE RATES COULD BE MORE, OR LESS BASED ON THE QUANTITY AND SIZE OF THE ITEMS YOU BUY.  ALL SHIPPING CHARGES ARE BILLED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. Insurance will be added to the final bid price at the following rate: $1 per $100, for ex. $1,500 insurance coverage = $15.  Items will be shipped within 7-14 business days.

Preview Date & Times: Preview/Inspection Dates: Friday, December 9^th from 3PM to 7PM and December 10^th at 8 a.m. until auction begins.
